Drunk and heartbroken in a drive through McDonalds at 3 am

He’s over me and he is the love of my life. How does this get better. Obviously, this isn’t how love goes. God knows what he’s doing and he has a plan but is true love supported to stray on one side for a while, then at some point reach back to you? I know anything is possibly and God’s will will be done always, but is that what could happen to someone meets the love of their life? I have no idea.
